The costume of the Welsh drawn by the miniature painter and topographer Edward Pugh (bap. 1763, d. 1813). This image appeared in Pugh's Cambria depicta compiled over nine years from 1804. The Cumbria Depicta, along with this image was published posthumously by Evan Williams in 1816.
